New York trip!
Thanks to all of you, through your prayers and support, have blessed this ministry and helped make it possible for us to fulfill the call to bring revival to the Northeast, the nation and the world.
We are happy to report that we had good trip. Many people were touched and blessed, and God was watching over us the whole 1400 miles.
The upstate area of New York has remained economically suppressed, and intellectualism is still very prevalent. Some families have to work 2 and 3 jobs to make a decent income. It certainly is easy to become depressed and discouraged in this atmosphere, aside from the frequent floods and grey days. Fortunately, some things are changing for the better.
When a Hungry Heart cries Out to God, He Will Surely Answer, He Will Not Disappoint!
We have continued to see a desperate hunger in many of the believers to press into God for a real breakthrough in their lives. Some, who came to the meetings drove many miles to attend, then had to get up the next morning and go to work again, all because they wanted more of God! He didn’t disappoint them!
After arriving in Johnson City, we spoke two nights at SOZO, a storefront church where Steve and Tammy Gendron pastor. The first night, Dave spoke and the joy of the Lord broke out and a couple of people suffering from depression were really touched and received God’s joy.
The second night, the Lord had me share how He wants each of us to use our gifts, talents, and abilities in creative ways to glorify Him. I encouraged them to not be afraid to step out into their callings, and that one person can make a difference. Afterward, I prayed a prayer of impartation for each one.
Special Prayer Request for Revival: Just over the river from Johnson City, is Binghamton, where Franklin Graham, son of Evangelist Billy Graham, will be holding a 3 day festival June 8 – 10. Many churches and believers have been preparing for months for this special event.
The Binghamton College campus, where the event is to take place was originally built in the shape of a human brain. Please pray that the spirit of intellectualism will be broken off from the city that brought us Wall Street and IBM, and that God will pour out His Spirit in such a way that there will be conviction and repentance in the hearts of the people over dead works, that a new wind of revival may blow in, bringing salvation to the lost, healing to the hurting, and restoration to the broken, that prosperity and blessings may once again abide in the city. Also pray that the unity that has formed over these past months between the pastors and churches working together for this event will continue long after the festival is over. See Psalm 133.
It’s Spring! It’s Spring!
We then drove to Elmira, NY, where we ministered for a week. Abundant Life Outreach Ministries has been holding meetings every night, 7 days a week for 33 months. That is nearly 3 years, and it shows. The place has been soaked in worship and prayer and the anointing is present in every service. A few nights, neither Dave nor I could even preach, because the presence of the Lord was so strong!
That week, we saw broken hearts healed and people receive new hope and direction they didn’t have before. One night the Lord showed me that a number of them had been living in “a perpetual winter season.” Spring had not come to their souls.
This spirit was then broken off a number of them, when I shared a vision the Lord gave me a few weeks before coming up north. In it, I saw the seasons speeding up like time-lapsed photography. First winter turned into spring, then spring into summer, and finally summer turned into autumn, but it was never winter again. First the ice melted, then the leaves and the buds appeared on the trees, then the trees became very green, and finally the leaves turned into beautiful reds and golds, but they never turned brown or fell off the trees.
Then the Lord told me to declare to them, “It’s Spring! It’s Spring! And it is time to ‘Spring forth into joy, O my soul,’ like the song.” Then the people began to praise the Lord and rejoice in excitement over what God was doing!
Psalm 1 1-3, talks about the man who is living for God. Verse 3 says, “And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does he prospers.” (NASB)
When God’s Word of Revelation Comes Alive in His People, the Devil’s Power is Broken Off of Them.
What a breakthrough revelation the Lord revealed to us that night! The devil had put a spirit of depression and heaviness on a number of the people, specifically in the form of “a season of winter,” when nothing grows and little progress is made, but God revealed the enemy’s plan and broke it off, by His anointing.
Isaiah 10:27 says, “The yoke will be broken, because of fatness.” Fatness, speaks of God’s anointing. It will become so big in us, that demonic chains and yokes will be destroyed. God wants to make us “spiritually fat” with His anointing power, so that we can break these demonic forces off ourselves and others.
On another night, Dave told how the religious spirit wants to keep people bound up so they can’t walk in the freedom He has for them. Many responded that night also. The spirit of religion will keep you in a box, but Jesus came to destroy the box (the work of the devil) to set you free to worship Him in sprit and in truth.
Signs and Wonders Were Also Evident in the Meetings
Orbs (spheres or circles of light) have been appearing at their church since last fall, and although not seen with the naked eye, they are showing up in pictures taken at the services.
Some are large, some small, but they are most noticeable and numerous during the praise and worship time.
Some believe it is the manifestation of angels. I know the devil certainly would not be hanging around during those times, because it says in scripture that “’God inhabits the praises of His people.”
We saw a number of the orbs in pictures taken by both a digital and a regular film camera. Amazing! They were even in a few pictures of us. One night, Pastor Jerry actually saw a haze appear in the air over the people.
That same night, I saw in the Spirit, a huge portal come down from heaven, and just sit on the platform next to the pulpit. It was made up of rows of pastel colors that kept steaming down like waterfall. Who could preach after that!
The next night I asked the man who had been taking pictures if he had taken any from the night before. He replied he had, but one looked funny and showed it to me. The florescent lights in the front of the room and to the left of the pulpit showed pastel colored halos around them. The halos were made up of at least two or more pastel colors. Also to the left was a huge orb. Well, like Rodney Howard-Browne says, “A sign will make you wonder.” These certainly did!
God said in Acts 2: 19 that He would send forth Signs and Wonders in the last days. Are we not living in those last days? Then we should expect to see things happen that we cannot explain. This should not be a time to fear, but to look up, for our redemption is drawing near.
The Lord wants us to be wise and discerning when encountering unusual phenomenon and not just blindly believe everything that comes along. Remember to always test the spirits to see if they are of God. Pray and ask God, “Is this You, Lord?” Then wait for the answer and a confirmation when you have seen something unusual. Also read I John 4:1-4 about testing the spirits.

Creativity Seminar
After leaving Elmira we spent a few days with Dave’s family in
Marblehead, MA, then headed to a Creative Seminar to hear prophetic artist, Kevin Moffatt at Revival Connections in White River Junction, VT.
It was worth the drive! Kevin’s desire is to see art return and take their rightful place in the church once again. He also addressed creativity on every level of calling, as a ministry unto the Lord. I believe this is just another sign of the “New Renaissance” God is bringing to the church, and eventually, to the world.
Peter quoted the prophet Joel in Act. 2:17 -21 on that first Pentecost saying, And it shall be in the last days,’ God says, ‘That I will pour forth of My Spirit upon all mankind; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams; even upon My bondslaves, both men and women. I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit and they shall prophesy.
And I will grant wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath, blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come. And it shall be, that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’ (NASB) Right now we are living in the last days, and as Spirit-filled believers we can all prophesy just as it says in Acts 2. As St. Francis said, “Sometimes, we even use words.”
So prophesy, Dear Ones, with the word, with music, with the dance, with pen or paint brush on the canvas God has set before you; and be amazed at what the Lord will do in and through you all to the glory of His wonderful name!

The AP reports that officials from Jordan, Israel and the Palestinian Authority “met along the shores of the Dead Sea to settle details of a study — dubbed ‘the Red-Dead Sea canal project’ — to save the shrinking body of water.” The United States, France, Japan and the Netherlands are said to be helping to finance the study.
