April Newsletter: We Will Be in NY State April 20 -28

by

Praise God,

We serve a Risen Lord, not one who is in a grave somewhere, no matter what some people may try to lead us to believe.

May the joys of this Easter season remain with you always.

Well, it has been quite a year so far.

We have continued to hold the monthly home meetings in Ormond Beach, where we have seen some wonderful healings, including a lady who had been diagnosed with Epilepsy. We also, spoke recently at Lifespring Outreach Ministries, in Longwood, FL.

Pastors, Steve and Cathy Akers invited me to speak at their ladies meeting on Sat. and Dave and I ministered on Sun. morning.

The people were really hungry for more of the Lord and His anointing was very strong in the place! I don’t think anyone left the same. God also gave me a prophetic word for the church.

Trip to New York

Dave and I are getting ready to make another trip to the northeast once again. We feel privileged to be able to travel to some of the places He has taken us in the past and see His hand at work touching and blessing so many. It is very humbling. Thanks to many of you who have supported us with your prayers and financial giving. Every one of the trips has been different, but the goal has continued to be Revival, by “reviving, refreshing, and restoring the church, encouraging the weary and telling the lost of our Savior’s love for them.” “ And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due time we shall reap, if we faint not.” Gal. 6:9

Many have, indeed, become weary in well doing, and just can’t see how things are ever going to change. But God is still God and He is still on the throne! David said in Psalm 37:25 “I have been young and now I am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” Also, Isaiah tells us that when the Messiah would come, “A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick, He will not snuff out. In faithfulness He will bring forth justice.” (Isaiah 42:3).

Jesus knew if the wick was still smoldering, it still had life in it, and He would not put it out. He knew we were like sheep without a shepherd, and had compassion on us. As we celebrate the life, death and resurrection of our Savior and Lord, we can be assured that the good work that He has begun in us, He will perfect it unto the day of His return. See Phil. 1:5.

Unforgiveness is Too Expensive to Keep, So Give it to God

Since traveling to the northeast over the past few years we have seen many lives transformed emotionally, physically and most of all spiritually, and have seen the Lord perform amazing healings and miracles right before our eyes.

On the last trip, a woman was suffering from a growth on her cerebellum. Interestingly, when her husband repented for holding a grudge toward someone else, she instantly yelled out, “It’s gone! It’s gone!” The brain tumor had disappeared! We had prayed for her earlier, and so had another evangelist, without any apparent change. The odd thing was, when I led her husband in a prayer to forgive these men, we were sitting on the other side of the room. It would have been impossible for her to have heard his prayer.

But God did!

Immediately, He intervened and she was healed. It was amazing! Now we know that unforgiveness can not only stop blessings from coming to us, but the results of that unforgiveness can also affect those around us as well.

The Latest From the Northeast –

Many of you have been praying for revival to breakout in your part of the nation. In the case of the Johnson City/ Binghamton area, we know that each year the Lord had been doing more and more to get the spiritual soul and environment of the community ready for this ‘Great Outpouring” He wants to do there. Billy Graham’s son Franklin is scheduled to come and hold a three day festival in Binghamton in June of this year, and we look forward to hearing about the great results. Just preparing for such an event, has gotten the local pastors in the area working together in unity toward that goal. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Psalm 133: 1

Johnson City, NY -

Pastor Steve and Tammy Gendron pastor SOZO Ministries, a storefront church in downtown Johnson City. It’s cutting edge ministry reaching out to the community through praise and worship. They have also hosted traveling evangelists and Harp and Bowl services. Area Christian bands often play on the weekends. In the past months the church has been growing as the spiritually hungry have drawn closer to the presence of the Lord. On our last trip, Pastors, Steve and Tammy, and Laura Shaller, joined me on the bridge in Binghamton to pray for the city. Steve blew the shofar and we invited Jesus, the Lord of Glory, to come into the city and touch the people. We also did some prayer walking asking God to restore the land.

Abundant Life Outreach Church, Elmira -

Pastor Jerry and Sue Berbary’s church, Abundant Life, in Elmira is coming into a greater fullness in the Spirit. They invited an evangelist in for 10 weeks of meetings, and now the atmosphere is literally charged with the power of God, and lives are being dramatically touched. Why? Because of their willingness to allow the Lord to first dig a deep well in their hearts and allow Him the liberty to move freely by His Spirit. This did not come overnight, but they have faithfully paid a great price for revival to come to their church with nightly meetings now for almost three years When these things begin to happen, the anointing overflows like water over a dam, and touches everything that is connected to it. Donna Florimonte’s home group in Waverly, PA, which is under this ministry, is also now receiving some of that overflow from their meetings. Praise the Lord!

Please Pray for Our Upcoming Meetings (Click here for info on dates and locations)

We want to be in God’s perfect will concerning this trip. Dave has planned on ministering on the joy of the Lord and the anointing, and I have been asked to do some teaching on the Kingdom of God, including creativity in the Kingdom. If you would like to help, by your prayers and financial support, it would really be a blessing.

Please continue to pray for us concerning the upcoming trip, for safe travel, and for God’s anointing to fall on the meetings and that lives would be changed for His glory.

In Jesus’ Love and Ours,

Dave & Diana Hartling
